Give you to big a portions but quick and friendly
The cod is batterd and cooked fresh so it is always hot, the chips are typical from 'chippies' a bit geassy and soggy. Good fish poor chips.
Good value of fish and chips although fish batter was a bit soggy
Last time I went here was when I moved away when I was 10. 17 years ago. Remembered the lovely fish and chips from here. Went back when I visited thatcham for the first time since, and they fish and chips are fantastic, well priced and good size portions, and service with a smile. Highly recommend
Excellent Quality Fish and Chips. I have used The Berkshire Fry a number of times and I can honestly say, that these are the best fish & chips I have ever had in Thatcham. The portions are a good size, and both the fish and chips are cooked to a high standard and of good quality. The owner and staff are welcoming, and friendly and always offer an excellent service, with a big smile. Well done all, keep up the excellent work.
