Fantastic service. Highly recommended. After being at another nearby garage for MOT, Mick's exhaust shop felt like a breeze of fresh air. A nearby MOT station advised me to replace the whole catalytic converter because of a hole in the joint of cat and the pipe. Original cat converter with exhaust is 1k for parts and work. This seemed excessive so, I asked around and got advice to visit this place. Mick inspected the car and adviced to weld the hole. Easy job. No replacement necessary. You can imagine how I feel about that MOT centre now.
It is nice to see some people still like this placeI have used this on several occasions without complaintHowever today despite my mechanic calling in advance and arranging for me to go in I found myself sat for two and a quarter hours and when the vehicle was finally being worked on being treated with contempt At one point the contents of my boot were strewn across the floor I was made to feel like a nuisance rather than a customer and several times hearing about how much work was onIf you didn't want to do the job why make me hang around all that time? I don't recall complaining to you about waitingIf this is good old fashioned service then I am obviously an alien..come to think of it that is probably how I was regarded
