Visited as part of a Bird ID training course. It has a nice mix of habitats and plenty to see. Brought my own refreshments, so unfortunately cannot comment on the quality of the cafe, but it seemed to be well used by mums and toddlers. Staff were nice and helpful.
Such a beautiful place. Great area for walks around the woods, lake or canal, short medium or long. It's also a great place for children to learn, both inside the centre, which has a lovely Cafe and shop as well fantastic outdoor play areas. Parking asks for a donation, which goes towards the maintenance of the area. Duck food available too, as well as planned local events.
Lovely walk around the lake followed by a warm drink and hot chocs for the children. Prices seem pretty good and plenty to do for the children as well as a nice long walk for the adults. Think we did 2.5 miles by taking the path by the canal and back round to the discovery centre.
Lovely place my little boy loves comming to feed the ducks and has done since he was old enough to know what they are. There is a good play park, cafe, and a nice walk around the water. Plenty of parking with an overflow.
Great place for all the family! The children loved the ducks and the play area, although the younger play area looks like it needs a bit of a face lift. Nice walk around the lake. Bring your wellies though!
