Having hired a van on two occasions . I am very happy with the service , the cleanliness of the van , the welcome and the personal touch which makes the difference . I do recommend SMARTHIRE from Thatcham , Simply the best .

What ever you do not complain about Smarthire! I rented a van about 5 years ago and they charged me for additional fuel - I filled the car with fuel prior to dropping off and when I questioned the additional charges they would not budge. I wrote a google review of my experience. I contacted them today to book a minibus but apparently I have been 'blacklisted' and they have simply refused to hire the minibus to me. So much for an organisation using customer feedback, even if it is negative to improve their customer service Very thinned skinned and precious.
