Attended a child's bowling party. Children enjoyed it, and had a nice hot meal which was part of the party package. Will visit again.
Lovely place. We all had fun just like we did 10 years ago. The staff was friendly, although one of them looked a bit list and dozy.The disappointing part was that our lane kept malfunction8ng and the side guards kept dropping and also the bowling balls kept getting stuck holding back our game.Otherwise we had a nice tine. I'd recommend to go there with friend, family and even younger kids.
Improved since the much needed face-lift, however the seats at the bowling lanes are still old and dirty looking, although I understand the renovation isn't yet complete, so hopefully this will be improved. It definitely looks cleaner when you walk in and it was the busiest I've ever seen it so the atmosphere was also much improved. Unfortunately not enough staff, poor lady serving was run off her feet and people where queuing a while, as she was on her own. Could do with 2 people here especially since you now have to wear bowling shoes as the process takes much longer. When we went to our lane the previous people had left all their half eaten food and drinks there and these hadn't been cleared by staff, pretty disgusting. Lady at the bar was very helpful and cleared it away, however there should be someone checking everything is clean. We enjoyed our family hour of bowling especially when it turned into glow in the dark at 6pm.
Nice tidy and does what it says on the tin. About 25 lanes, amusements, bar and new bowling shoes. It has recently been taken over, so it is much cleaner now.
